anaphylactic

                        the shakes are back 
                        in my sleep
                          burrowing into my ears
                               laying eggs in my sleep

                               fingers and straps,
                               abeyant, and
                                   subjecting, their fingers are
                                   ants in my eyes, alive 
                                   with refugee
              
                               for the nothing
                               in its breath

                          pivoting, and 
                          hinged
                               in the dark
