OF VIENNA

slightly deranged walking
down mass street early afternoon,
i spat out words,
voice unchecked

and she
calmly suggested that i be
"aristocratic,
but not really for the money
and not really aristocratic,
just rich
and eccentric,
yet respectable,
but not really
respectable, so that I," she said
all seriousness,
"can be the girl everyone
identifies as the one thing
that keeps you sane."
she smiled
all seriousness.
"and for our honeymoon,
i'll take Vienna."

jacob johanson can't write about
himself in the third person very well.
which is ironic given his love of words
and gigantic ego. it bothers him. at
some point, he became the editor of an
online rag which you'll be able to find
(soon) at www.offbeatpulp.com
