DAWNA EPIC

The gorgeous, witty and young
prepster progeny of
Hollywood Elite

From the most senior scriptwriter
To the lowest stoop prop-master

Kidnap the prodigal kids from
             a long scheduled reunion
             me and the TG
cousin I haven’t seen in years

imprisoned in a black
             lodge light opera with
a touch of the clueless
             paradigm whose theme is
all of our political and personal insecurity

& they’re mean & they
mean us
know harm we know

The effects are wonderful
             we laughed, almost died
almost laid & wondered why
they don’t make themselves known
more often in the everyday
             better world

naturally passed on copyrights
             in our name delivered
safely to the front yard
             where they/we were the
             hole time

But the script was buried amongst a dump truck load of
rejected submissions
& when we finally found it

            it was still their names
            we didn’t know there
