if left too long
upon the vine,
Un-picked and Disregarded
Eventually withers,
and rots
and becomes bitter.

Chris Stanifer is a professional Chef working his craft in the Culinary Mecca of Las Vegas, Nevada. In his rare-spare moments away from the din and smoke of the kitchen, his brain and nerves begin to relax, allowing him to place pen to paper in an effort to examine (or exhume) the world around him, and discover his own place in it. Though new to the world of "public poetry", he did manage to coerce "The Gloom Cupboard" into including one of his pieces in their forthcoming 2nd Print Edition, and another will soon (dis)grace the pages of their Online Edition.
