Born 1974 in Parkersburg, WV, I currently live in Astoria, NY.
My interest in photography began late 2005 when my thoughtful
lady friend presented me with a digital camera as a birthday present.
Upon receiving the gift, I realized its great
potential for helping me to cope with and express
emotion about anything that lies beyond my own mind.
As someone who is generally introverted, I find personal
solace in the world outside by encountering individuals
and environments through immediate images of weird,
honest states of being. There is such intense mystery in what can be seen,
and my photographs are a reflection of my own perspective regarding
our beautifully isolated existence.
