Bat



The five mammalian fingers,

     the

         five

         bone

     mammalian

         fingers/

furry little animal
quivering by the ceiling,

   a wing
   and a claw,
        come
   through a wall:

lit space, terror

     chirps

     at    e v o l v e d    frequencies
